Quicksilver vs Bravo 1
#1
supposedly spun a quicksilver 14 3/4x28 to 5250 rpms at 81.2 mph...3000 rpms is 44mph, 4000rpms 62 mph, 4500 rpms is 75 mph...27 Kryptonite w 500efi n a stock bravo 1 1.50 ratio drive these were documented by Teague during a test. the boat now has a 28 pitch bravo 1 3 blade....havent run it yet to compare...thoughts on what to expect ?

more rpm's, more slip, harder to get on plane, and since you were close to the rev limiter with the 4 blade you might be getting into it with the 3 blade. also most likly a lower top speed. i would look for a B1 4 blade 28p in the swap shop if i were you.

Mirage props are 3 blades. Bravo One props are four blades. There is no such thing as a "bravo" 3 blade. In stock form, the 3 blade mirage props came in odd pitch numbers..21-23-25-27-29. The "bravo" 4 blade, came in even pitch numbers 22-24-26-28-30 and so on.
Your posts are confusing. I assume the boat HAD a 14 3/4x28 Mirage 3 blade prop. I assume you now have a 28P bravo 4 blade and are asking what to expect? If thats the case, rpm should be somewhat close, and possibly lose 1-2mph on top.
Or, maybe you had a 28P quicksilver mirage 3 blade, and now have a 28p mirage plus 3 blade. if thats the case, rpm should drop a bit, and should cruise faster, slightly. Either way, either prop wouldnt be a stock piece due to the pitch being a 28.
Get yourself a 4 blade prop to run.
