Hey I blame EVERYTHING on FastForward!!! lmao
He did all the testing and in the end misprinted the pitch size of 23 instead of 22 when he did his PQ260. When I figured everything out I pm'd him saying how did he get a 23p to perform so well, then he told me he had the printed the wrong size in his tests posts.
It really doesn't matter on the speed, my hull wasn't designed for speed, lots of folks dropped a WHOLE lot of coin into their engines for that hull and 73 mph was about it. I was only concerned about the chine walk. Now if I can fix the chine and have the a lil more speed, then great.

Bert--I dont know if you remember our conversation in the PQ forum but I paid good $$$ to have my Hydro QIV 23P prop labbed and still couldnt get the RPM's out of it! Its just not the right prop for our conventional bottom. I lost about $400 on that prop (I was going off FastForwards advice too). How much did it cost you in time and money to open your engine up when you thought you had a problem with power?
--You are going to need an entirely new prop! Just dropping the pitch 1 inch will only net you about 200 rpm's. You need the Hydro QIV "X" prop for the bow lift (or a Bravo 22P). The prop you have now is lifting the stern and forcing the bow into the water--that is whats costing you the rpm and the speed.
