You seem to know your drives, Is there any way to run a hydromotive prop on a Speedmaster 2 that has a 1 1/4 diam.
19 spline shaft with a 4" prop hub. I would really like to try a 14.5 x 28 3 blade but dont know if any hubs are available to slip into this prop.

The 26 spline prop shafts come in 1.75" OD and 1.88" OD. The #6 drive uses the larger 1.88" which uses the thinner delrin sleeve. The #5 and other older drives use the thicker delrin sleeve. These sleeves are used to take up the difference in the OD of the propeller to make a tight fit.
These sleeves have nothing to do with the spline configuration. Prior to these "bushing bores", the propellers were tapered in the bore to fit the shafts properly.

Call me if you wish to hear the complete history.

tssteph, you need the #5 bushing and should be fine.
