Well, I'm by no means a prop expert, but I own and have driven numerous Baja's including a 240 sport. If you are only turning 4500 with the 26 prop, you are not spinning fast enough to get into the power of your motor, so you are overpropped. It would be helpful to know what rpm the motor was turning with the 24p prop (and top speed). Most older Bajas (including mine) have a deep x-dimension and are actually faster with 3 blade props. Have you tried a 3 blade mirage prop?. I would call or PM bblades on here, he has helped many people get the setup right on their boats. I would try a 3 blade mirage plus prop 25p or have the 24p bravo labbed. if you don't get enough rpm from this, try the 23p 3-blade. just my .02 cents, but definitely call bblades.
