Hello!! I am a newbie to the site! I have a question of which prop i should change to. I was runnin a 23 foot powerquest with a 23 pitch stainless Mirage, the boat was powered by a 454 that was 325hp. I upgraded over the winter to a 502 EFI that is 425hp, and i can barely get 4200 RPM out the boat now, it was gettin almost 4800RPM. What do I do to get more r's out it? i am still using the same prop that i used w the 454. Thank you!!!

From: Denmark and hopefully some place nice
In that case, something is off. You should be able to spin the prop with a 415 hp motor compared to your old 325 hp. When I say off, I think you have a motor issue, not a prop issue. It does not make sense. The 502 is made to spin in the 4800-5000 rpm band.
You should also try and post this in the Q&A section. Lots of knowledgable engine people there.
