Default twin 28 pantera props

i just bought a twin 502mag efi 415 horse pantera and i was wondering if anyone had any input on props they ran on theirs. got my boat home sunday and took a frigid ride. ran strong not sure if my tach's are accurate. i was only getting 4000 rpm out of it with a 26 4 blade bravo. but it seemed to be running harder and faster than that. being a twin it seems a little a$$ heavy and was wondering if i needed to run a little stern lift prop. i just found a set of 24 hydro's to try this spring. got a long winter to do some research in buffalo ny.

thanks guys

I have 24 Bravos on mine with 468s and Trs drives with 2" spacers. I might remove the spacers this winter and see how it runs with out them. With the 24s I run 73 on gps.

Twin 502 EFI Bravo boat should be running Bravo 26's or 28's, should run about 78MPH, something doesnt seem right.

thats what i thought. but i dont have trim indicators and 1 drive moves a little faster than the other so im gonna get some indicators on it and play with the trim in the spring. i need to get some more seat time. it handles and drives WAY different than my 28 single thats for sure. bigboat28 had 26's on his 502mag boat and he got mid-upper 70's out of it at 4600 rpm. i might not have been trimmed out far enough. all in all i love the boat so far and cant wait to get it back out

I'm running 27's, 3 blade mirage props on the apache, but obviously a different hull. I think the pantera has a small hook in it. Speed is around 70-72 with twin 502/415hp. Its a little heavier boat (7500 lbs), but carries the nose great and no tabs needed.

Panteras do not have any hook built into them from the factory.
