I have a 2002 Laveycraft 29' NuEra. It has the 500 EFI. I will be doing most of my boating at 7500' elevation. The boat came with a 26 p Bravo 1 that was being used at sea level. I have ran the boat at 3 different elevations with a 24 p Bravo 1.

Highline Res elevation 4700' 24 p B1 4400 rpm 52 mph
Havasu 500' elevation 24 p B1 5000 rpm 65 mph
Lake Powell 3700' elevation 24 p B1 4600 rpm 58 mph

I have a 22 p B1 that I'm going to try at Pueblo res elevation 4880' next week. I have a feeling that I will not be spinning up the rpms enough at that elevation with that prop.

Any thoughts on what prop I might use at 7500' elevation?

I think that I could have used the 22 p at Powell.

I'm not real worried about losing top end, I would rather have a good whole shot and use the whole rpm band my engine is capable of like 5000 rpm?

Any thought would be appreciated.

We ship to and from Canada often and have been for years. It used to be less obtrusive.
If you have family or friends in the states near the border, this makes life easier on the return shipment. Otherwise, we will include the required paperwork for the return shipment and you just need to ship it here via your desired method.

Let's try a 21 Revolution 4 through the test program. It may need a adjustment but I believe the casting is the correct choice. Otherwise we will need to go to the 19 Revolution 4 and bump it accordingly.
7500' will require a decrease of 3-4 inches of pitch. typically.

At the end of a year long project on a 99 419 Fastech, I know you guys have probably done several in the past. I have one fresh new motor, 2 with top end jobs on 500 EFI's, all dyno at 514-17 at 5400, all running great, as always looking for a little more on the top end for the beast. Currently running 30P Bravo 4 blades getting about 78 mph @ 5100. Do you think there is a better prop setup for that boat??

Your current number do suggest a slip% that is higher than desired.
As far as a better propeller selection. That determination depends on your goal. It looks like speed is your main objective?

The Bravo 1 propellers you have are arguably the best "all around" stern drive propeller made. I have been using them stock and modifying them since their inception. They are so good that other company's have copied them almost to a T. As long as 10 years ago to as recent as 2 years ago you will find copies of this propeller. I'm talking exact blade area and pitch progression copies with slight diameter and cup adjustments to be able to call the props their own. I guess copying a propeller is about the best compliment your prop can get! The point is, we can adjust your Bravo 1 to help decrease the slip % you have and increase the rpm you need. That would be option number 1.

The second option would be to test 5 blade propellers form Mercury, Hydromotive or Turbo that we have in our test program.

Once we talk about your goals, we can discuss all the options. We can also talk about weight distribution, "X" dimension, planning etc.
