As title says, I've got a 97 180 Islander with a small block 350 (5.7L) in it.
I've currently got a 19p Rapture which is pretty good for pulling/hole shot, but leaves my top end a little low. I'm pushing about 4900rpms WOT and hitting right at 50 on GPS.
I'm looking to drop the RPMs just a tad (or keep them the same, even), but bump the top end up. I figure I'll use the 19 for water fun and something else for speed/cruising. I've been looking at both the LaserIIs and the Mirage+'s, but am unsure of using a 21 or 23p.
Thoughts, or am I way off base?
Thanks!

Your best bet would be to try a Laser II in 21" pitch. That would probably put your engine in the 4500-4700 rpm range. I'd guess you might see 52 mph but not much more. The Mirage props with their larger diameter take a little more torque to swing than the Laser.
