I have a 2000 25' Daytona with a NEW Procharge 502 EFI around 630 HP and a 1.30 Bmax outdrive 26p 4 blade bravo prop at 5200 rpm at 87 mph. I have read a few of yalls post on here and it seems that people are getting a lot faster speeds out of there boats with the same HP and was just wondering if I should be going faster with this setup, or if there might be something wrong with the boat. I have a 28p 4 blade prop and almost wont even get on plane with it. Even now with the 26, 1/2 fuel and 4 people it is slow to plane. I wasn't sure if there's a better prop that I should be running to get up easier and have more top end?

Maybe a hydromotive p5x 5 blade? Top speed sounds about right. You may be able to get 2 or 3 mph more on the top end with propping adjustments. Maybe you could talk to one of the propmasters on the board.

Call Greg Hittner at Cutting Edge Propellers (949) 701-0900
You can have a custom prop built and labbed for not much more than you'll pay for a Bravo 1 and if it doesn't work right out of the box he'll either rework it or send you a new prop. His customer service is second to none.

actually, 87mph with 630 hp is pretty good. I think your biggest issue is the B max gear ratio. 1.30 is pretty steep with only 630hp.
Some numbers from my Daytona over the years.
stock: 500efi, 1.5 to 1 B1 and 28 bravo = 80.5 at 5200
Warmed up 570 hp, same drive and prop was 84.5
whippled 750hp, 1.5 drive and 32 labbed bravo was 94 at 5300
900efi, 1.34 SCX/SC combo with a labbed 30 gives 111 at 6000
