I dinged one of my Hydromotive P5X's last year and shelved them for the season.
I decided to give Greg at Cutting Edge Propellers a call and after talking with him, sent him my props for repair and some tweaking.
After getting the props back, all I can say is WOW!!
The props look absolutely beautiful, both the repair work and the polishing was amazing!
Testing the props gave me some impressive numbers on the top end which I am very pleased with!
Although I wasn't able to pull maximum rpm, I was able to beat my top speed prior to the repair.
My props are on their way back to Greg for some final tweaking and will hopefully pull bigger numbers when done!
Awesome job!
Thanks Cutting Edge!!

Just received my props yesterday from Cutting Edge propellors.
I wanted a couple more modifications done and as was the first time I received them, all I can say is Wow.
The work is absolutely flaweless!
They are now on the boat for testing this weekend!
Thank Cutting Edge!!
I will let you know the results...

I finally got a chance to test my reworked prop out.
Plane time is fantastic, zero slip coming on plane, and planes out at 2700rpm vs 3500rpm with my old 32p Bravo.
Cruise speed is way up, 3500rpm cruise is a solid 56mph vs 50-51mph with the bravo
Top end testing was done in less than ideal conditions, as it was 100+ degrees out on Tuesday when i tested, but we are getting closer.
The original recipe for the build I asked for less bow lift, as i felt that my old prop was pulling the stern down too much in an attempt to lift the bow. Well we certainly have the stern lift now, but need a little more bow lift, so Greg and I have a pretty good plan on what we want to do with the prop next to get it where we need it.
Overall I am very pleased with the changes that we have made so far. I have a solid 5-6mph gain at cruise, which to me is fantastic. Once we get the top end dialed in I will be even happier.
