24' Essex Valor
Looking for advice. I just picked up a 24' Essex Valor. 496HO. It currently has a Bravo 1 (4blade) 24 pitch prop. I got 64 mph on GPS at 5000 rpm. Belive it or not, I would like to go faster. Any suggestions. Anyone running a similar application. Anyone running a 26 with that boat?

With a Labbed 26 we could do for you, you should see about 67.5 mph at 4800. Your cruise speed will pick up too.
