Default How long does a prop last?

I have a 2000 h2x with a 23p mirage plus that is original to the boat. It looks great, no dings, chips or any sign of wear after 400 hours. I have not had this boat out as it has been getting the engine rebuilt (7.4 mpi) is there any maintenance needed on this prop? I am also looking for a spare should I buy another mirage plus new and save the current prop as a spare or just run it and find a used spare? Thanks for your time

No dings or leading edge nicks is pretty surprising after 400 hrs. It's impressive. So, no actual maintenance required other than inspection by trained eyes for hairline cracks. Re balancing and buffing. (by some one very familiar with M+'s)

As far as new, wait for the engine to be done. Then base line the old prop again. With those speed, rpm and handling numbers, I can suggest options to fit you goals and desires.
