Default Bravo 1 not working for me, what to try?

Hello all. I have a 28' Advantage mid cabin open bow with a single 575SCI. I am currently running a LH 26B1 on a standard length XR drive and am not happy with how it performs. I am seeing 20% slip and can actually feel and hear the prop slipping or cavitating alot of the time. The boat doesn't respond well to trim either. I think that I am just not hooked up good. I am just touching the rev limiter at 5300rpm. Should I try a 5 blade? If so, what prop and pitch? Any other suggestions?

Thanks, Joe

Probably should try a 5 blade - Hydromotive px5. Bblades has a test program where you can use it before buying.

You should think about switching to RH while your at it. It puts less load on the Cap.

5 blade for sure, and maybe less pitch

1st question,
Has the Bravo 1 ever been adjusted/repaired?

2nd question, how far below the hull is the propeller shaft? (directly in front of the drive)

Let us know and we can do our best to get you back to that happy place!

Brett

Another option is to try installing a 1" drive spacer.

Yes, I have 2 LH26's, 1 labbed and 1 not. Both have been repaired, and they are a little worse since the repair, but both did it before also. The boat is at the lake and I will measure the X this weekend.

I sent you a detailed E-mail about 10 days ago and I never got a reply. Should I call instead?

Thanks, Joe

Joe,

I went back through all my emails from that time frame. I also had Brad do that as well. We do not have a email from a Joe with a 28 Advantage. That explains the lack of response.

If you have a moment, could you please resend the email?

Thank you,
Brett
