What prop for 32 fever

We put our 32 back together with stock 454 power. The boat will run
68. on gps with 4 people and 1/2 tank. But motors are turning almost 5100 rpm running 15 1'2 x 25 mirage props. Want to get the rpm's down to about 4600.Do not want to loose any top end and boats comes right on plane easy now.I have my thoughts but need some back up.Think 26 mirage props or 4 blade bravos of a yet to be determined pitch.Stock bravos 1.5.1.JOHN SR

What stock 454's???? 454mags, 330's??? 310's????

454mags should be spun to 5000-5100rpms at WOT for the best performance.
330's you want about 4700-4800rpms at WOT

NOT MAGS!! They are 454 blue waters They came out of a inboard boat believe they are 340s but nor sure I do know that 5200 is to much for inboard boats. JOHN SR

Im wondering the samething. My 32 turns about 4800 and runs about 72 MPH right now. My perfomance sheet says she turned 5050 when it was tested and ran at 75 MPH. I'm trying to find just that little bit. Im think it should improve my mid range making it so I dont have to run her just that much easier at crusing speed. My motors are stock 502 MPIs

I would probably try some 26" Bravo 1's.

Fenderjack,

We can discuss your setup and offer you a variety of test options.
I feel the correct 4 blade propellers will get you right where you want to be.
