Default prop slip % ??

what % of slip would be considered average & what would be considered bad ? what is the lowest prop slip % that anyone has seen ?? just very courios !!!

IMO 15% would be considered average. Anything around 10-12% is considered excellent and anything 20% or above poor. Im sure others will chime in but thats always been my understanding...

That depends on what type of hull.
On the boat in your profile, probably something around 10% is normal.

Everybody wants/expects 10%.
More often than not, you will run above that number.
Cats will tend to run better slip numbers than V's at WOT.
Don't get to obsessed with slip numbers if everything is running and carrying well and you are under 16%.
Small adjustments can make big changes.

There is no real average but it almost always higher.
Typically in the mid 20% range.
