You mention good cruise speeds and good low speed hanlding as well as rough water handling.

In that case my first suggestion would be to go with the Revolution 4 propellers. Great all around props. The 3 blade props would give the better top speed by a couple/few mph but everything else will be bettr with the Rev 4 props.

Inward rotation will carry the bow higher and offer better speeds but you may prefer the handling of the outward rotation.

The boat will tell us that once tested. Probably low 20's.

if your going to try the rev$ blades i would be cautious,,that hull design and those props may have a major porpoise problem..

now ask me how i know that? yours may be differant with the bravos but with alpha's,,hmmmmmmm..

Mike...been a while since this hull was wet...but I do recall one outing when I had a lot of tab in that it wanted to dart arround like a top water bass lure! I don't need to lift the stern too much but as you say...Bravos may be a different deal all together. I wonder how it will be with Bravos...they weren't even sold until this boat was 9 years old. I have seen 2 in S Fl with Bravos but not been on one. One had stout 406 SBC power and the other had 420 horse BBC's....converted from TRS. I don't recall asking about props.

What props did you run on that 255 you put together? I think you told me you may have had 750...800 horsepower in the water...how did it perform?
