As mrfixxall pointed out the Lightning and TXP props are designed for high propshaft heights. I have not tried a TXP but I love my Lightning. Stays hooked up better than any 3-blade I have tried, and I have tried quite a few. And it's also a fast prop.

Toffen,

I know we have the distance between us but, if you want to try these props, you know we have them for testing.
Also, remember everything you have been through and what has worked the best so far. Use logic before you chase a pipe dream.
Best of luck my friend.

Brett

Hi Brett

Thanks. Indeed. I will check if I can get hold of one just to see how the boat reacts. I think we anyway are close to max of what I can get out of the set up. Maybe 1 mph more.

Checked my transom last week and we have to replace it. I presume everything has its time, and the boat is 30 years almost now. Lucky me I have a very good performance boat builder around here, so I am in best hands

Cheers Toffen
