Default 21P or 23P Mirage Plus for 26 Scarab

Hoping someone can give me the proper insight...want to purchase a new 21p or 23p Mirage Plus for my 26' Scarab. Currently running a 23p Mirage (standard). What will give me the best overall performance. Thanks in advance for the help.

What engine? What rpm and speed (GPS) are you running now? My recommendation is to use the prop slip calculator--10-12% slip is the goal and about as good as you are going to do.

At 12.85%, I'd Lab your 23 M+.
I believe you talked to Brad and He explained how the 21 will most likely put you in the rev limiter. You will also lose cruise speed with the 21.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

I have a 24 foot predator with a 496 built to 450-500 hp. Bravo 1 1.5 ratio and my 23p just spun out all the time I went to a 24 bravo 1 4 blade and love it to death the boat gets out of the water so fast and it will run 70 plus at 5000rpms.
