Amazing how almost 30 years later mirage 217 intruders are so cool.

If I could make a mold of the boat it would be awesome to build a light weight version.

This 86 217 intruder needs gelcoat work but probably cost prohibitive un less i could find the right person willing to re gel coat the whole boat.

Has anyone ever repainted a mirage?

Always keeping an eye out for a 217 intruder with a pristine gel coat.

i would give a 23 mirage plus a shot. its what i ran on my pachanga with an alpha and 33hp 454. i got 63 gps out of it once. but most days it would run 60-62 gps like clock work depending on the chop.

525 hp and 70+ MPH in a small boat is nice. What 4 blade are you running? You should be well over 75 MPH.

Maybe Scott/CFM/SB will chime in. He is a Microboat guru.
