Take advantage of the slower winter months and have propeller work done while your boating buddies are just dreaming about their next run. Don’t be forced to wait in line when spring rolls around, get your propeller work done now, and for a special price! No matter who manufactured your propeller, BBLADES can perform whatever work you require. If you need to replace a prop, we offer competitive pricing on props from Mercury, Hering, Hydromotive, Acme, Stiletto and Turbo, not to mention our own line of BBLADES propellers. Not sure what prop is best for your boat? BBLADES offers the absolute best propeller testing program out there. Brett, I have a 19ft Champion Bass boat w/ a 200hp evinrude o/b. I am currently running a 24p 4 blade of which I don't know the make, prop is great out of the hole but is a little to much for mtr on the top end. How much would it cost to clean-up the leading edge & tweak it for more RPM's [ approx. 4-500 ] ??
|
Hello.
I will assume you have a renegade propeller. It is a OMC version of Mercury's Trophy. The cost to completely Lab the propeller is $320 during the winter special. Just a pitch adjustment/balance and buff will cost $200 However, these propellers do not respond to Lab Finishing like some other will. I would feel the results would be better (efficient) with a 200 rpm increase which involves the $200 fee. If you really desire a 400 rpm increase, going down in actual propeller casting size is the better option. Obviously adjusting your propeller is most cost effective if the 200 rpm is acceptable. I will box it up & send it to you for the buff & tweak job, don't really need it labbed. meanwhile I'll hunt for a 22p

That sounds good.
We have a info sheet you can fill out if you desire that will give us some starting info. You only need to fill out what you can. We will call with any questions we have before we start the project. Here is a link to the info sheet. http://bblades.com/shipping-props-to-bblades/ Brett |
Is my prop worth fixing? All 3 blades are beat up pretty bad from sand bars, nicks gouges, tips bent, ect. Or prob be money ahead buying a new used one out of the classifieds/craigslist and labbing it form there?

Definitely Lab this propeller. Some of the repair work will come along for the ride.
Now is the time since Lab and repair labor is on winter special. Brett |
Keep'n it fresh!
