hello everyone,
We have just finished raising the drive height on oa 27ft squadron xii/cigarette boat. The set up is a 496ho with Bravo drive. Currently it is spinning a 24" bravo 1 prop and reaching 63 mph at 4900rpm. I feel that the bravo 1 is not the best prop for my application and that I could squeeze an extra mile and better all around performance with a bow lifting 3 blade like a mirage +. Any u guys have experience or insight on these boats and prop type they like?
Thanks!!

Call us when you have the opportunity and we can discuss the where's and whys.
The prop you have is performing correctly but may be inducing a little extra drag due to the 4th blade. But, going to a 3 blade prop will compromise overall drivability. Modifying the 4 blade might be your best decision.
It is up to your goals and desires.
