Hi guys, I need your help for some set up on my boat.
It's a 24 monza with a 300 promax mounted on a 8" manual jack plate. I don't know what lower unit I have but it has a 1.75 ratio.
Top speed is 57 mph with a 21 mirage + at 5800 rpm with 2 people onboard.
I'm hoping to get a little more out of it, what should I do?

I'm a little biased (LOL) but I would suggest you try our 22 pitch Bravo OB/F

Hi Bret, thx for the answer. What numbers could I reach with this kind of set up?
I live in the Caribbean, choppy water because of the wind. I'd like to gain top end without destroying mid range.
Would a bravo be nice in these conditions (FYI it's my first boat)?

The propeller will be a perfect option for your boat. The mid range efficiency will improve.
Top end is debatable and can be determined only by testing but I would assume you will see 1-3 more on top as well.

Crap, sorry to hear that.
At least it is early in the season so you'll still get a pretty full season this year.
Good luck.

Yes, Brett lot of days left to come, I live in the French West Indies we can boat allmost all year long.
My mecanic has a used fleetmaster that has just been serviced so things should be ok soon.
Do you think it might help me getting some more mph?

Probably not since the footprint of the 2 cases are the same.
Let me know on the OB/F

Hi Brett, I was checking the testing program on your website, I wish I lived in Usa!!
I'll try to find someone to lend me one to try it.
I'm still waiting for the expert to give my insurance his report, hope it'll be done this week!
I read a guy posting that with same engine and same prop on the same boat he gained 7 mph with a fleetmaster!
What do you think about it?

Hi all, some fresh news.
The fleet master has been mounted this week end. My local mercury dealer had no HD solid hub in stock so I had to get it delivered from another island.
I'm supposed to get it tomorrow evening.
I'm on holidays this week so tests will begin Wednesday.
With the old lower unit numbers and using mercury prop slip calculator I get 15% of slip.
Any idea on how to correct this?
