Default 24 p&d

24 P&D w/ bravo 1 and sbf 351w. Motor is said to have about 330hp. Any help or guidance as to what might be the prop for my set up. I have a 25p LH chopper that I posted in the swap shop but I need a RH to even test it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone

If your Bravo is a 1.5 ratio, you should look for a 21p mirage (cheap and easy to find) to get started. Most P&D , Jaws, Martini,24/7's with bone stock BBC's turn 23p's so this should be a good starting point. Good Luck and drive safe!!!

We can supply you with a test prop to get started if you desire.

switch shift cables and try the lefty prop. or even just try it with shifter in reverse. most likely too much prop for a 351W, but a baseline for comparison since it is already in your hands can't hurt. my money is on 21 mirage or plus also. also, these 24/7 hulls like opposite rotation cuz engine torque is one way and prop torque is other way. cancelling each other out. this narrow beam likes to lean...

Whats up guys! i finally ran the boat WOT! I was able to hit 59.1 with a great holeshot while running a 23 mirage and the whole way that I was accelerating the boat kept gaining speed up until it couldnt go any further and the boat felt solid and as stable as can be. Very happy about that! My tach is reading very low rpms. I had the dial in the back of the gauge set at 4 pole-8 cylinder the first time then i switched it to 3pole-6 cylinder just because that was the original setting and that didnt work either. Anyone have this problem before? And also what shout I do about the prop so I can get the most top end, should I go up in pitch or down and try that 21 mirage?

you need to find what your rpms really are before you do anything with props. you might be turning 4000 and need 21. you might be turning 5500 and need 25.
