Default #6 prop re-stamped Bent?

I'm looking at a set of #6 props that a guy has for sale and they are stamped as 16 1/2. I can clearly tell that the stamp under the 16 1/2 says 16 3/4. So, does this mean the props were bent a 1/4? If so, does that hurt the integrity of the props? They don't appear to be labbed, just bent. Thanks for replies!

That's diameter, I'd assume 1/4" was trimmed off

These propellers were Labbed originally at Mercury Racing in May of 1997.
At some point the diameter was cut down, not the pitch. This could have been done at Mercury Racing or elsewhere. Cut downs can be for performance reasons or even repair reasons.

What they are currently at as far as over all geometry could only be determined in our lab.
