Question Looking for input on single engine C3 Canopied race cat - More acceleration needed

Power is a 2.5 / 200xs (maybe 225hp) -

Class top speed is 85mph.

Boat weight is approx 2250lbs

I raced this past weekend with a Bblades 14.75 x 28p 4-blade cleaver. Boat runs ok, but acceleration is blahhhh. I know it's only a eggbeater but what can I do to help this little motor pull harder from the turns? It's difficult getting exact prop specs from Dubai as they race spec class rules wide open and I'm limited to 85mph

I have read a 3 blade would help keep the rpms up on this little engine thus helping in the turns>? any truth to that?

Default

should have added - would a 14.50 Dia help the engine spin quicker compared to a 14.75? would that 1/4" even be noticeable?
