Default Tear in blade. Can it be fixed??

Noticed a vibration a couple of weeks ago in the starboard motor. Noticed these nice little tears in the rear edge of the starboard propeller today. Can this be fixed?? Or should I be looking at a new prop?

Not fixable. Buy a new prop. WOW - How old is the prop? That looks like a fatigue crack.

Nope. Pitch it.

Ask me about my blade that tore off from the base a few years ago and destroyed my lower unit in its prison escape.

Not sure on the age of the propellors. They came with the boat when I bought it. The previous owner had a log book for all the stuff he did to the boat and no mention on new props. I'm willing to bet they are original props or changed out very early. the motors have just over 500 hours on them. Luckily I didn't throw a blade while doing the Buffalo run this past weekend.

That's not a big deal to replace Jason. What size are they?

I just bought another stock 28 when mine let go, slapped it on there; and it matched up fine.

They are 26 pitch but someone had the leading edge machined so I'm not sure what else may or may not have been done. I'm gonna call BBlades today and a few guys recommended Murphy's in Virginia as well.

I moved the other thread here so it would be seen by the experts.
He probably didn't realize I moved it when he started this one.
