Default Identify this lab stamp

Can anyone identify this lab stamp? The boat was originally set up in Miami- I'm guessing this is someone from Florida. Thanks for any help.

the only BDP I have heard of currently is. Not sure if that prop is from them because they are not in Florida.

The props cam off a 28 Pantera that was rigged in Miami. It was just an assumption they may have had the work done locally. Thanks for the detective work BUP. I'm going to give them a call and see if this was their work.

Let me know If I was correct as I knew of Black Dog Props and currently goes by BDP if in fact that is whats stamped on your prop in the pic. I did not know their website so I had to look that up to post it. Anyways I like to keep up with who / who's with the stamps for my own reasons.

Let me know what you find out. Thx

I'm not sure as to the stamp you have.
It used to surprise me how few companies actually stamped the props they work on. I've actually been saying that for years on this forum. I must have been heard since I see more and more new stampings each year.
At Bblades we have been stamping our props since day one. Just as we did at Mercury Racing while I was there. Since Mercury is moving away from custom Lab Finishing work into a few "stock" recipe options, they are not stamping props anymore.
One thing to also keep in mind. Just because there is a hand stamped set of letters and/or numbers on a prop, this doesn't mean the propeller is customized or Labbed. It could simply mean the shop owning the stamp has worked/repaired the prop.

While I'm offering information I'd like to remind people that Bblades still custom Lab Finishes your propeller specific to the boats and owners desires. I'm proud to say we were the first to do this. There are many shops and even manufacturers out there who advertise they Lab Finish propellers and now say what we have been saying all along, that they Lab specific to the boat. However, that's not always a accurate description.

Brett-

Thanks for the info- These props are actually going to be on their way to you tomorrow, for you to tune up. They are definitely labbed, which you will see when you get them. I'll talk to you more then.

Thanks
Mike

BUP-

I never found who did the original work on these props. I did end up sending them to BBlades, they cleaned them up and from what I can see added some additional cup to the tips. Hopefully within the next month I'll have the new motors in the boat and drives built so I can test these out.
