Default What prop for H2X?

I recently purchased a 2007 Baja H2X with a 496 Mag. I currently have two props for the boat. I have a 23 pitch Revolution 4 that gets me around 65 mph. I also have a 23 pitch Mirage 3 that gets me to 70 but it close to hitting the rev limiter. Someone pointed me in the direction of getting a higher pitched labbed prop. My main goal with the boat is to be around 70mph while not approaching the rev limiter. Can someone please provide some insight? Please excuse my ignorance to props and especially labbed props.

If your not bumping the limiter I'd say your propped correct, the 23 mirage plus is what they come with, the rpm's will be slightly higher in spring and fall from air temps being cooler and less humidity, heat of the summer you can lose 200 rpm in some cases, sounds like your right where you should be, labbing a 25 mirage plus would drop your rpm's around a 100 and prolly pickup a few mph,but hurt your holeshot, switching to a bravo 22 would basically turn the same rpm as the mirage 23 but scrub a little speed being a 4 blade

P.S. Welcome to the forums!!!!!

My buddy's 05 h2x with a496 mag and dana exhaust is running a 26 bravo and it runs 68.8 on the gps. He had the 23 mirage plus but the said after extensive prop testing this was the best prop for him.

Running the numbers suggests your running very efficient.
If you want 70 mph, Labbing a 25 M+ may be the only route. It will decrease throttle response slightly.
Contact us and we can get you a 25 stock M+ to get real baseline numbers with. From there we can determine the overall results with your new numbers.

Try a 24 turbo. I ran 72 mph with that and stainless marine manifolds on a stock 502 H2X
