Default Mirage prop difference?

I have 2 props for my boat. Both are 23 pitch. One is a mirage plus. The other is a mirage. The mirage seems to accelerate better than the plus. What's the difference between the two?

Cupping. The Mirage Plus has more cup. The Mirage will generally run a little higher RPM in the same pitch, with slightly less bow lift.

Also, the Mirage will have a rubber hub and the Plus will have the Flo-Torq hub and PVS system (adjustable holes for more slip to get the RPMs up on take off via ventilation).

I believe the Plus also has a slightly larger blade area.

I've had both. I have grown to like the regular Mirage more and you do see more rpm with the regular Mirage vs the Plus.

Thank you for the info. The PVS I didn't know about. My boat is sluggish getting on plane with the mirage plus. I will good with the vents and see what happens. Something else to play with. I like tweaking and tuning things.
