Don't forget to run a Rinda scan tool to make sure engines are at 100% power. Fresh fuel, plugs, all filters are always a good idea. Switching props is easy enough also.

Take his props and compare them to your props and make sure that someone hasn't taken all the cup out of the trailing edge of the prop and the blades haven't been cut down.

We haven't put them side by side yet but I kow for shure they have been tuched the leading edge is super thin. They have some nicks but none that I would think make that big of a deal on its own.

Props are sofa king finickey at times. does it help get on plain quicker by a sweeping left or right turn? Tab settings?
My BT hates any tab at all getting on plane, adds to the time to level off.
As mentioned, look at the props close, my bblades props "tuned" for my stepped hull whale carry the nose way high when planing and breaks over hard. My preferred labbed no cup 28s offer little bow rise at all but slide on plane quickly. Same bravo 4 blade, 2 vastly different handling, planing etc
Good luck

Drive showers on it? Make sure placement is correct. Might have put another set of props on that are different enough to cause an issue. Showers can cavitate prop bad and do exactly what you say its doing if wrong.

Ron, Lake isn't frozen yet, get out there. Put your props on and try. Measure the diameter and compare to yours. Also, why don't you just call and ask the previous owner, see if he switched them out?
