Wonder where the 900sc #6 stagger 42s were for PS height?
They were where mine is at or higher but I don't have the setback the 6 has. It does not seem to run wet or bow steer at speed. Handles good for how little drive/prop I have in the water.

For mine at 67/33 a 4-blade slips 23.39 and a 5-blade slips 36.64, because the 5-blade has 25% more lift than the 4-blade, at 80/20 the 4-blade slips at 18.71% and the 5-blade slips at 11.45%, currently I run at 86/14, a 4-blade will blow out and not stay on plane and the 5-blade slips at 8.97%, that is what I look for when fitting a prop when one less prop won't stay on plane and blows out.
Standard for what? I haven't seen any that deep.

I would be interested to hear the outcome in that prop change ,I have been running a 17 x 35 4 blade and I am going to try a 18 x 32 5 blade to see if it calm's the boat down a little

Mine was rigged at fountain that way. I would like to rerig and try higher someday, but not sure its worth messing with. It handles on rails at top speed, and is getting dam close to 100mph club with 468s with no steps . Full tanks of fuel and rough water, it can be a chore to get on plane . Empty tanks and calm water, it planes pretty decent

I think JD was referring to a stagger setup being that deep.
