Default Prop Hub Play

Over the weekend I changed props and noticed one hub had some play within the prop and the other was rock solid. Do these things wear out? Flo-Torque II Solid Hub Kit 1.25” shaft.

Good to know, I'll keep an eye on it. Can't be good for the drive if the hub bangs into the prop casing when shifting in and out of gear.

We carry snubber kits which can snug up the inserts.
Here is a link.

Yes. The hub and propeller are cast. There are tolerances and if they are each at max of the opposite ends we can have additional play. This is of no concern since we still have a square plug in a square hole.
Make sure the prop nt is tigh and there should be no prop rattle.
