Brett, being that it’s going to be at least 60 degrees warmer this coming week in WI than it was this past week I’m sure you’re going to be swamped, everyone will be getting their boats out of storage, haha. Anyways I have a 30 Maximus 15.625” diameter with .625” cut off the tube. My 25 Outlaw seems to like the long tube on the Maximus, seems to carry the whole boat. Would adding tube then labbing/removing some diameter be a good way to go or would I be better off starting with a 100% stock Maximus then having that labbed?
All_In, Thank you.
IGetWet, A long tube Maximus is what all Maximus and Max5 props are born as. Anything with a reduced tube is cut off the normal as cast propellers.
We cut almost 100% of the tubes down on all Outlaws. We do that to increase the hulls ability to create bow. This is done by decreasing stern lift. Most of these hull need more bow than stern lift. If your boating style prefers the added stern lift, I would suggest simply removing the divergent or "bell" end of the tube and leave the rest for your desired stern lift. This is where you are at with .625 removed.
If all that is done to your propeller is the tube reduced, we can work with your casting. If anything else has been done to the prop we may be better starting from scratch. Call us when your ready and we can discuss the options.
Thank you,
Brett

There are only 9 days left to get your propellers to BBLADES for the winter special pricing.
Send them in now and save money and so as to not waste time this Spring.

I anticipate we will do a winter special again. It has been pretty successful the last few years.
People can get repairs and Lab work done prior to the season and we can prevent getting as backed up in the Spring.
I'll let everyone know as quick as I can.
Thank you,
Brett
