Default 41 apache prop recommendation.

Picking up a 41 with 1000 horse blower motors. Number 3 speedmasters. Has 17.25x29p 4 blades and revs about 6200. What's your thoughts on getting rpm down and maybe gaining a couple mph? New to the boat scene btw!

Congrats on the new ride, are the drives big shaft 3a's or 3's ? I dont think it was stated in the original post when it was for sale.

Congratulation on the Apache. Nice rig, especially for your first boat. If you're turning 6200 you should be able to spin 34s.

I have a set of 32p x 18" 4 blades if interested? These went 93mph on my boat at 5200 RPM.

You prob have a similar setup, only diff is I have #5s which may be set higher than your 3s.

I would unbolt those 3’s and put a pair of 5’s on it.

You talking about bowling on 5s meaning the drives? Not really in the budget at the moment. What would you want for those 32s?

$3K for the props - check to see if your props are 26 spline. These are for SSM6, and you will need the small plastic spacer sleeve to make them work on 3s. Also, not sure if you have the big shafts or not. Being #3s, you may have the smaller shafts and 19 spline.
