Okay, finally got to run the boat. Ran 63mph at around 5500rpm with the 21p mirage plus, 63mph at 4900rpm with the 23p mirage plus. What’s my best bet here? Labbed 23p mirage plus?

If you were light on gas and alone with the 21 i would think about keepind it so your are closer to 5200rpm with gas and people! Otherwise if you were full load with the 21 i would then choose the 23

I tested with 2 guys at 200lbs+, 50gals of fuel and a full toolbox, so I guess you could say that’s pretty much what I’ll always be carrying. Jumped right out of the hole with the 23 so I guess my question is do I get one labbed and hope to gain the Rpms with it? There is one labbed by BB in the swap shop I may pick up depending on the general consensus here.

We can look at the recipe via the serial number and determine the potential if you desire.
Let me know if we can help.

I would exchange the 2-200lb dudes for 2-110lb hott chicks (5'7"+), a little less fuel and more alcohol.
Also, don't just lab the prop to gain RPM, do it to gain performance.

The chicks don’t really dig the 40 degree Michigan weather yet 😂 Alcohol was to a minimum as we were skirting the Michigan motorized boat ban just to prop test 🤦🏼‍♂️ And labbing to gain rpm will gain performance, when a 21 overrevs and a 23 underrevs, wanting to stay with mirage +, the boat loves em.

I know what you meant by labbing props. I'm just saying make sure you get the performance with the RPM's. I've tested many labbed props. Some performed and some under performed, but I "gained" RPM's with all. I have also lost handling characteristics with some labbed props.

The only work order I can find is for repairs back in 2010.
Stock casting at that point.
