Powertech ofx 4blade 24"
3000rpm, 32.6mph, 27% slip
3500rpm, 41mph, 23% slip
4000rpm, 50mph, 18% slip
Much more bowlift compared to bravo 24". Stands more positive trim than bravo. Cyl 3 plug came appart at 4000rpm, so could not go any futher in rpm.

Ok, the boating season is knocking the door. Found nice used 1/2" spacer kit, but before testing the spacer i tought to modify my bravo DWP water pick ups first. Have done lots of reading about DWP bravos, and few claims that the LWP ports can disturb the water and cause prop slip. Atleast i am going to plug the 2 top holes on the sides, because my engine temps were on the hi side and had low water pressure. What you guys suggest for me to do to the LWP ports? plug all the 4 holes or leave 1 or 2 open? hard to belive i need those ports at all, at 4.7" prop shaft height.

Plugged three lwp ports, both from the right and one from the left, left one port open for water drain out. I am using right hand props so that is the reason i plugged both rh ports. I also plugged 2 top holes on the sides. Wonder what filler i should use to cover the nose?
