I have to agree the boat looks great. I have the same boat but in red. we love it, it is the perfect all around boat on a budget. we've had ours about three years and slowly getting it set up how we want it. I have a 502 with a long list of goodies,it's around 525 hp. i'm seeing 64-65 gps in a chop with a mirage 23 @ about 5200 rpm. my prop of choice right now is a 24p hydromotive 4 blade, tops is about 62 gps at 5000 rpm, but the boat handles 10 times better.i'm still playing with props as well. Do find the tabs help at all? I don't have any and have often wondered how it would react to some. I run all the time in 3-4 footers at 50-55 and the boat handles it great considering the size.

Looks good! I did this with my 89 235 force and it brings back a lot of hard work memories...lol. But the boat has been good since then and we have put about 130 hours on it having a ton of fun. I haven't painted the exterior yet as we have a wrap on it that we don't like. It's got buccaneers football stuff all over it which we don't like since we aren't football fans.
I also have the bug to move up in size which I'm trying to fight for a year or two but its tough!
Good job

I'm not sure on the fading mine was repainted before i got it. It looks like the original gel in the cockpit area has some fading to it. I'm assuming that's why it was painted. And yes the cabin door on mine slides in behind the helm.
