first you have to deside if you want to use free standing with a double sided pedestal or the type that bolts to the side of the gunnel and one free standing pedestal..,the ones that bolt to the gunnel are stronger with the one free standing pedestal..

I have two new unused polyethylene roto molded seat shells for bolster seats. These are free to anyone that can use them. Packing and shipping at actual cost only. Thanks. Bob N. Colorado.

Look at Great Lakes Skipper, they have some drop out frames and a load of seats at a reasonable cost. If you can find one that will work for you, it may be cheaper than fabricating your own depending on what you have to work with.

it isn't that hard to fab the wood part. getting the foam to work and look right, plus getting the hardware and the lower mount frames is another story. THEN you need to upholster them. it is a LOT easier to replace existing upholstery than to start from scratch. buy a used set that need redone. you will be ahead of the game big time...
