Thanks for the motivation guys!!

ttrm007: That was the biggest selling point for me when I was looking is the SBC's fairly inexpensive to build decent power from such a poplar platform. Good power to weight ratio I know a little less torque but I hope to make that up with a prop change. Your 427's are gonna be a very nice setup!! I waited until I was almost done with the interior & dash before I pulled the trigger on power. Big trigger!! for me anyway 10k is a drop in the bucket for a lot of members

Ross Fochte from Ocean Express has been working with me on some of my setup & questions I've had. Super helpful person!!

Looks good, mine is also a old race boat had canopies on it until the late 90's. The seats were already in the boat when I bought it had 5pt harnesses on them. I pulled them apart to recover them, found out they are Aluminum Kirkey racing seats. Same ones I have in my race cars. I was going to change them out for something that hugs you into to seat a little more but ran out of $$$$ so I had them recovered for now.

This is a pic of this boat from 96'

only problem with spinning a small blower that fast is that it builds alot of heat and becomes less efficient. you may be better off to find a set of 671's and spin them slower

The sandpaper trick worked awesome on my beat up looking rub rails, had to use some 320 on the bad spots then go back over with 500 & a quick wipe down with a Magic Eraser they look like new!!

Now I just got about 65 feet left to do!!

I'm looking forward to see how she runs with your set of engines. Keep it up she's coming along nicely. Nice race Photo. I just love these older OE's
