i bought this boat and wish i never did due to the guy lied to me about eveything and i was young and dumb, but i took the time and some money and tore it down and rebuilt it fom top to bottom.

it had a stock 454 330 motor hardly running with every rod bearing spun.

broken out bravo 1 out drive

is how i bought it and this is what i have planned for it this year.

i took the motor and tore it down and then decided to build a 496 bbc for her

i have the interior getting redon by craig from appearance products doing the interior

and fixing up the fiber glass thats all cracked and nasty

Keep up the work! Looks nice for a 23 year old boat! Mine is also 23 years old and I had to fix a bunch of stuff after buying it also! Blew the rebuilt engine in it 13 hours after I got it! Still love my boat and the money I have into it is better than spending 100k for a new one!

I bought my boat expecting to just throw a floor in it and ended up having to do a full rebuild on the hull. Lucky for me the thing ran great but every peice of wood ended up being replaced. Its an old used boat so I dont mind. Like sunrocket said, the pay off from all the hard work is totally worth it in the end!

Keep us posted, your doing what that boat has needed for a few years. I wish I would have talked to you before you bought that boat but it will be a good learning experience maybe a little expensive but still cheaper then college!! Looking good so far, If i get up that was I might catch up with you & come check it out.
