The only thing I really like finishing is the dash, shifter and the cabin

that looks sweet. what about yr back seat is it comfy? mine must not be original cause it feels like the back is straight up like there is no lean back to it. its really uncomfortable

sdg0080 09-25-2014 07:35 PM

I want your engine hatch cover... lol freaking awesome. That's the exact same seat I have. Yeah seems comfortable.

khubard 09-29-2014 08:59 AM

The backseat is comfortable. That rear engine hatch it was a Pain in my A$&! Took me four months to get that right.

Did you make any patterns? That's a ton of work to perfect that cover. Did you leave the engine stock on yours? As you can tell mine is anything but stock. I've for to add hydraulic steering to mine. The speeds this thing will reach will render my factory steering useless. .. lol

My Upholstery guy made in from a pic. I tried to go to someone that scan the pic and made a format...Total disaster...They failed twice before I pull the project and went to the guy that did the rest of the interior. I was very anal about it as I wanted everything inlayed in the material. Yes the engine is still stock. That will be the last thing I change. I wanted all the cosmetics done first..I will redo the dash this winter. Here are a couple of more pics..

I would remove that engine cover during the off season , and store it in my spare bedroom, under some satin sheets
