Hey everyone,
New member here. I'm looking to re-carpet my 1997 Baja Islander 180, but don't want to break the bank since I'll probably move up to a larger boat soon. The boat had that original Baja purple, which of course has been discontinued. Since I was lucky enough to get a color scheme consisting of purple, a pinkish color, and yellow, I'd like to keep it some sort of purple.
I am going to do a glue-in application.
I have a sample of Corinthian Marine's cut pile Iris Purple and a Plum 20oz from MarineCarpeting.com (I think it's AquaTurf brand). Corinthian's is much nicer, but it seems like it will get pretty hot in the sun. Has anyone installed the Iris from Corinthian or another brand of purple? Any pictures would be appreciated - Corinthian has some on the website, but not enough up close and it's hard to tell from the small samples I have.
Thanks!
