I have some more pics but my service is terrible ....I ended up spending 5 hours wet sanding and buffing the front and finally brought It back and everything in the engine bay that was steel is now stainless including caps that I mounted over the stringers...to my surprise there wasn't any rot in it just a small soft spot above the exhaust which will be next years project if I don't move on to a bigger boat

89 corvette heads ? That's first for me ! Seen some Malibu boats with aluminum lt-1 heads ,closed cooling ,oddball set up on those .pre lt1 vetts rated at 230 hp in emissions compliant tune ,lots of torque ,if you can make it pull to 5200 might be a good lightweight sbc combo vs usual vortec head build ..

That's what I was hoping for should be pretty torquey with them on there I'm running 10.2 to 1 compression .....I started out as a budget build on the motor and ended up with those heads and I can always change it next year if I'm not happy with the set up

Mine is coming along awesome...previous owner had pretty much built mine. The last and final upgrade will be the interior. Its scheduled to go in July, right after the 4th, for interior. It has the original in it now, which is in good shape, just time for upgrading. I have had mine out two weekends now, I will say for a 21 footer, she cuts the lake like a razor, handles and drives great.

Yeah for a 21 footer I was shocked at what it can take and I have a windscreen I had one made last year I spent 800 and had a guy make them I didn't want to install them until my interior is done I think I'll drop it off next week...tonight I started building a drive shower

I found out I had a little issue over the weekend....swim platform bolt pulled thru...ugh!!! Its not bad, transom actually sounds good all around it, hoping some epoxy will hold it this season until the winter gets here and I can get it fixed. Thought about a thru bolt situation and some 5200 for it...lol!! As solid as it all seems around the back, it hasn't got far past the bolt holes, might drill out the swim platform frame hole and go one size larger on the lag bolt. The **** boat builders did in the 80s...lol, makes me cringe!
