Ayuh,.... Last motor I put together, I happened to be paintin' heavy equipment 'bout the same time,...
Hence, the Cat yellow,....
Plain ole Rustoleum type equipment paint, 15 years ago,....


The motor I'm puttin' together lately is painted Mack, Maxidyne Gold,...
Rustoleum again,...

No need for Hi-temp paint,...

I like anything BUT Black, as oil leaks, if they happen, are easier to see,....

When I first built my engine it was Mercury Blue and now it is white.

Default Small Blocks Forever!

Here is my project. It is unfortunately stalled but new motors are ready



Fun to see how fast your can go with small blocks!

These are a dark metallic blue, they are quite a bit darker than merc racing blue

Thank you! I also did the lettering on the valve covers in those colors also.

I kept mine pretty simple with just black and silver. The silver is all powdercoated. I then pulled the colors of the boat onto the engines using vinyl decals
