Some updates from past couple weeks.

Wrapped up seawater cooling system on first engine. Plumbed cooling lines into aftercooler and the main heat exchanger. Finished closed loop lines to turbos and built a small coolant reservoir to test this new setup on the dyno.

Warmed up the first engine last Friday. Found a small issue with our custom dyno adapter setup, so planning to resolve this next week and have some good results by end of the week.

Video from Friday's run time.

I love the project. Im a huge diesel fan.
Dont see enough of them in performance boats.

The paint came out killer too. Love the white.

LOL. Fist person to ask that. Stole LBC from the song Doin' Time by Sublime. West coast abbreviation for Long Beach California.

We use it over here for Long Bottom Central.. Small farm town in sharpest bend on the Ohio River, Southeastern OH about 30 miles down river of Marietta.

I'll take you up on it.

I love it down there.
I used to race kneel down hydros and we raced on the river a lot.
Great people on the river.

We are midst of a huge boating style shift.
Just sold our Lake Erie cruiser that we spent all our time/money on and pretty much going to the same places.

Our roots is in small/trailerable cuddles that we took everywhere and we are going back.

The Ohio is on our A list.
Plan is to plan a weekend around a race, tunnel, inboard etc, launch from 40/50 mls away for a nice trip to the race site.
Get a dock, unload our folding bikes and go explore.

We love Marietta.
Will be at least one other boat along.

May need an early recon mission down to snoop your project 😉

That area is nice in the summer, use to motorcycle around there a lot. Like said river boating can be a lot of fun, the old river towns are cool.
