I’m trying this baby. Should fit tight on one of my countertops in the cabin and be right next to one of the oval side windows that I can run the exhaust hose to.

im not sure if it should ride along or get removed. The lake is rough. But I also don’t have a dockbox to throw it in.

Since most of these are docked and plugged into shore power wouldn't it be easier to just mount the window shaker on a rolling cart and run some flex ducting to the hatch?

Actually had a buddy that did that on Lake Cumberland since he had a slip. Worked great. He used insulated flex ducting connected to a piece of plexiglass that fit perfectly into hatch opening and the unit sat on the dock.

I take window unit with me when I've had to tent camp in hot places with electricity. Sat it on a couple 2x4 chunks, zipped into one of the doors on 12x12 cabin tent, let it run entire weekend. Was 94 outside and 72 inside the tent haha. Tent did have condensation on outside at all times though. Between that and the double high queen size inflatable mattress, I was comfy!

then the only thing you have to worry about is some drunk walking down the docks late night and knocking the whole thing into the drink! LOL

We're getting Kidturbo off track. Nobody cares about air conditioning in a speed boat.

Whats the speed dude, how fast is this thing gonna be?

I took week of the 4th off to go watch a bunch of other people work on boats in Sarasota FL. Was quite relaxing, until the 1yr old Kohler generator on little brothers boat crapped out night before the big race.

No fix in sight, and knowing my dog wouldn't do well for 8hrs out on the water with no AC, I laid out a plan. Go get your portable Gennerac unit and strap it on the boat roof, make up a 30Amp adapter cable, problem solved. Then I made quick exit [via Uber] to the Daiquiri Deck on Siesta Key beach for dinner with the wife. Heard I got MF'd for a couple hours over that, but at least it was from a distance. LOL..

So this whole AC topic was actually relevant to my trip. At lest to the point I can appreciate the measure some will go to stay cool. Dog was happy on Sunday, watch some great boat racing from the water, and I managed to spend 5 days around boats without touching a wrench...

Now for what I accomplished over past week. Drive and Transmission coolers laid out. Just waiting on some seawater hose fittings to arrive, then everything should go together pretty quickly. Can't mount the turbos and exhaust pipes up for good until every piece on the transom is finished. Just no room to get your head in there with pipes on.

Also got driveshaft loops mounted up in the extension boxes. As you can see, there is plenty of things a broken U-Joint could grab onto and make for a crappy do.

Thought you might appreciate this.

Local guy does pulling w/a semi tractor.
Dont remember motor but it was an older in-line 6.
Had one in shop w/a frisbee size hole in block after breaking an imput shaft, full load, full boost 😳

Kid told me a piston and rod weighs 29 lbs!

Motor is set to shut off above 4200 but when imput shaft broke it saw 4700.
They are claiming 3500 hp’s and similar in torque.
They pull w/3 tractors.

yeah I already changed my mind to one of these. Gonna return the della stand up. This will fit under my cockpit where a bigger cruiser would have an aft cabin.
