Default Formula 233 bravo hieght

Hello there I am repowering a 1974 Formula 233 with a 454/ bravo does anyone now if or how much I can raise the X dimension? thanks Murray

i would add :

what 454 model (hp)
intended use (very important)
expectations (hoping for)
this thread may be seen and answered more in another thread, general q&a / drives / formula owners thread, but i dont know which.

mercury says 16 1/8 inches crank centerline (X) on 12 degree transom for b1 and b3, and that b1 and 3 can be raised as much as 3 inches. this is off a paper template i have from mercury. 16 1/8 inches is 5 5/8 propshaft depth below keel b1 is 21 13/16 shaft to shaft.

454/385 hp boat will be used for general purposes cruising fishing etc. just assumed raising the x dimension would male the hull work better.
