Making a steady push to wrap it up so Al can terrorize Lake Simcoe :D speaking of that man that looks like one hellofa place to be a boater, i was up that way earlier this year picking up a pair of AK Racing cylinder heads . . . if you dont have them . . . get some now! :D (shameless plug lol)

People terrorize Lake Simcoe?...Please say it isn't so

gotta start feed'in the beast again . . . . the thread . . . not Al . . . although sometimes i wonder :D

getting ready to drop the deck/bustle on and am finishing up the underpinnings. Had the two rear tanks out and decided to move the original bulkheads as far forward as they could go to accommodate rear facing rocket launchers that can be loaded from under the center console . . . . or in times peace they might also be used to hold rigging . . . you know cables, wires, telemetry, etc . . . .

tanks were cleaned tested and epoxy coated, they will be foamed in when all is said and done . . .

its nearly impossible to get a side shot, have all the finish work done on the capping. Going to gelcoat that next to really tune up the line. I like the clean look of capping and this thing was nearly capped from the factory. The deck and hull joint are as about as close as you could want to do this process.

from the pic it looks like, balsa --- 20 layers of glass--- balsa
if it is glass in between, why in between and why so many layers for a floor ?

if the dust gets any deeper on the shop floor you'll have to bust out the snowblower
when i look at that picture i start itching, it's like sympathy vomiting or a contact high you get a rush concert.

glassdave 02-02-2018 08:40 PM

lol yeah Dan the glass dust doesnt even bother me anymore . . . .

yes the floor is balsa . . . kevlar . . . about a dozen layers of glass . . . etc :D
