Hey Scott, there is always a badder hotrod out there. I'm excited about the non-step, no-notch bottom. Lake Michigan can be kind of screwy at times. Another boat I have spent some time in scared me once, taking an easy 45mph turn. Back end skipped out about 5ft. The trouble with stepped bottoms.

When you find it in a few years be sure to let me know about it first just incase I'm in position to come up & help you put that deposit on your new ride & I will take home :bigbird: I bet you are excited about that first water test & I agree that with the water lake Michigan throws around I would feel Much better in a conventional V & esp. a 41 Saber |

Dan , good luck with the offer on the 41 ! If you get this thing , there are some things you need to know . Feel free to contact me any time for the details . As far as the ballast tank comment from WS402 .... he is right , the boat doesn't need it . Just one of the "overkill" features that were built into the boat to make it what it is . It aint flashy , it aint pretty , and the t-shirts are all gone ( well , I might have a few left ? ):drink: ... but it works at 100 mph in open water like nuthin else !
Do you have any pictures of the drives on the back of the boat and what props worked the best? |
