Little more progress. Hopefully I will have all the hydraulic lines in the boat by the weekend. Also dropped the rest of the upholstery off.

Nice...that's how I like to see them. Are you going back to original paint scheme? Oh and on the indicator clips try and unscrew the clip from the wood first, then open the clasp.

Jdub & Wieland, great work. As much as I love to see other Sabers in my home waters of West Michigan, it is really cool to see them spread around the country a bit and to see guys spending the time and money to take them to a modern and better than new level from their original form from the 80's when Saber was first in business. I looked at both of your boats in the early 2000's and I have to say, what you guys are doing to those boats is simply awesome.

Thanks BG. I'll do my best to show everyone what a Saber is around my way.

Yes, Thanks. Its really fun working on this boat. I am keeping it the same paint scheme. Since it was the first one i thought it should be kept original looking. im kinda partial to red anyway. I also was able to get the cables loose with some penatrating oil. Will show some pics of the progress. Hopefully she will be painted by next weekend. Appreaciate the complements. MIKE

LOOKIN GOOD GUYS ! Interesting how they changed the chine from the original which has a very narrow chine ... to the later 28's that had a 3" chine if I'm not mistaken ?

You'll have to ask Doug but I believe the chine was made wider when they started putting twins in.
